Returns and Complaints

Withdrawal from the Contract If you are a so-called privileged buyer, meaning:

A) a consumer

or

B) a natural person for whom the contract concluded with us is directly related to your business activity but does not have a professional character for you,

you generally have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded remotely.

You can withdraw from the contract by submitting a declaration of withdrawal, e.g., via an email sent to: biuro@ksiazkiposzwedzku.pl. After sending the declaration, wait for our response with acceptance.

You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days.

The fourteen-day period for withdrawal from the contract begins:

  • for a contract in which we deliver goods while being obliged to transfer ownership – from the moment you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) take possession of the goods. In the case of a contract covering multiple goods delivered separately, in batches, or in parts, the period starts from the moment of taking possession of the last item, batch, or part;

  • for digital content – from the date of contract conclusion.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the withdrawal declaration before its expiration.

Return the goods to us immediately after receiving approval: ul. Niemcewicza 26/403, 71-520 Szczecin, Poland or ul. Mazowiecka 17/23, 70-526 Szczecin, Poland, but no later than 14 days from the date you withdrew from the contract. Pack the goods in the packaging in which we sent them to you. To accept the return, send back ALL FREE GIFTS you received in the package, such as bookmarks, stickers, etc.

We will refund your payments immediately under the rules specified in the Store Regulations, but no later than 14 days from the date of receiving your withdrawal declaration.

If we have not proposed to collect the goods from you ourselves, we may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or until you provide proof of return shipment – whichever occurs first.

To approve the return, the returned goods must not show any signs of use or damage.

The payment processing fee for transactions made through the Autopay online gateway is non-refundable.

Please note that the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to contracts:

  • for non-prefabricated goods, produced according to your specifications or tailored to meet your individual needs;

  • for goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short shelf life;

  • for goods delivered in sealed packaging that cannot be returned after opening due to health protection or hygiene reasons if the packaging was opened after delivery;

  • for audio or visual recordings or computer software supplied in sealed packaging if the packaging was opened after delivery;

  • for the supply of digital content that is not delivered on a tangible medium, for which you are required to pay, if the following conditions are met:

    • we have started the service with your explicit prior consent,

    • you were informed before the service commenced that you would lose the right to withdraw from the contract upon its execution and you acknowledged this,

    • we have provided you with a legally compliant confirmation of the distance contract, including information about the above consent, on a durable medium within a reasonable time after concluding the contract, but no later than before the service began.

Detailed information on withdrawal from the contract can be found in our Store Regulations.
