“Harry Potter och Den flammande bägaren” is the Swedish edition of the fourth book in J.K. Rowling’s series. Another year at Hogwarts awaits Harry, but this time school life is anything but ordinary - students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons arrive to take part in the legendary Triwizard Tournament.

Before returning to Hogwarts, Harry attends the Quidditch World Cup. Soon, however, troubling signs connected with Lord Voldemort begin to appear, and the scar on Harry’s forehead starts to hurt once again.

Once the school year begins, attention turns to the Triwizard Tournament. Hogwarts will compete against two other schools of magic, while the champions are to be chosen by the Goblet of Fire. The fourth book expands the wizarding world and leads Harry towards increasingly serious dangers.

“Harry Potter och Den flammande bägaren” was translated from English into Swedish by Lena Fries-Gedin. The first Swedish edition was published in 2001. This Rabén & Sjögren edition was published in 2019, has 748 pages and comes in hardcover.

The artwork for this edition was created by Alvaro Tapia, who is also associated with the other Swedish editions of the Harry Potter series.
